The site uses open-source libraries hosted on its own domain: pdf-lib (MIT license), PDF.js (Apache 2.0 license) and libheif compiled to WebAssembly (LGPL 3.0 license, full text served at /libs/libheif-LICENSE.txt).

Text recognition (OCR) relies on Tesseract.js and the Tesseract engine compiled to WebAssembly (Apache 2.0 license, full texts served at /libs/tesseract-7.0.0/LICENSE.md and /libs/tesseract-core-7.0.0/LICENSE.txt), with the tessdata_best language models from the Tesseract project (Apache 2.0 license, full text served at /libs/tessdata-best-int-4.0.0/LICENSE.txt).

The typefaces used are Instrument Sans, Inter and IBM Plex Mono, all three released under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 and served from this domain.

Generated PDFs that contain Greek, Cyrillic, Arabic, Hebrew or other letters outside the Western Latin alphabet embed the DejaVu Sans font, reduced to the characters needed and served from this domain (Bitstream Vera and Arev license, DejaVu changes in the public domain, full text served at /libs/polices/DejaVu-LICENSE.txt). For Chinese, Japanese and Korean, they are Noto Sans SC, JP and KR, reduced the same way (SIL Open Font License 1.1, full text served at /libs/polices/Noto-OFL.txt).

Files processed on the site

The files you drop on WizeFile are neither sent to, received by nor stored by the publisher. All processing takes place in your browser, on your own device. You remain the sole holder of, and the sole party responsible for, the documents you process.
