How it works

Drop your document, choose how to cut it, and get back a zip archive containing the resulting files. Pages are copied as they are from one document to the other: nothing is redrawn, nothing is recompressed.

The three ways to cut

One page per file breaks the document up completely. A ten-page document gives ten numbered files.

In batches cuts into packets of a fixed size, handy for a regular bundle: two pages per contract or four pages per form.

At chosen breaks lets you click the pages after which to cut. Use this mode when the parts aren’t all the same length.

Is my file sent anywhere? No. You can check for yourself in thirty seconds: here is how.

In what form do I get the files? In a zip archive, made on your phoneyour tabletyour computer. You can also download each piece separately from the list of results.

Is quality preserved? Fully. Pages are copied, never redrawn or recompressed.

How many pages can I split? No imposed limit. On a very long document, each file produced takes a moment to make, and progress is shown.

What about password-protected PDFs? A PDF that opens without a password but forbids printing or copying is accepted as it is. If it needs a password to open, go through unlock a PDF first, if you know it: the document comes out intact.
