Batch processing
As many files as you like, all at once. No bandwidth is used.
Why this site exists
Almost every online file tool works the same way: you send your document to a server, it gets processed there, and you download the result. That model has two consequences.
First, your file has left your phoneyour tabletyour computer. A contract, a pay slip, an ID card or a medical record ends up on a machine you know nothing about, with a deletion you have no way to check.
Second, that processing costs the site money. So it has to hold you back: two files an hour, mandatory sign-up, a maximum size, a watermark on the result.
WizeFile runs the work on your own machine. Both problems disappear at once.
How to check it’s true
Open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab, then use any tool on the site. No request goes out during processing. You can check for yourself in thirty seconds: here is how.
Use any tool on the site, then cut the connection, with airplane mode or by turning off Wi-Fi and mobile data: the processing carries on anyway. You can check for yourself in thirty seconds: here is how.
What it costs
Your machine does the work.
On an older computer or a phone, a large document takes longer than it would on a dedicated server.
Memory is the real limit.
A very heavy file can make the processing fail. If that happens, we’d appreciate your feedback.
Some tools don’t exist here.
They would need an engine too heavy to download to be usable, so they aren’t offered.
